Character, like a stake on a young tree, is what supports the fruit the Father wants to bear through each of us. Simply put, character matters because it matters to God!
Dear Parents,
Modeling our family after Him takes an incredible amount of character, not entitlement, which is taught, not inherited. I have never created an environment where my children believed they were princesses and the world was designed to cater to their every wish. Instead, I have sought to intentionally equip them with the character of a true Son and Daughter of the most worthy King.
I began teaching a class called Character Counts in my home years ago. I saw a need to equip hungry parents in the ways of Kingdom parenting, specifically as it pertains to healthy character building that models the heart of the Father, the original parent. The concepts outlined are fluid in relation to one another and can be tailored to meet the unique needs and expression of your family.
Nothing opens the door to favor and opportunity for your child more than good, godly character. It is a worthwhile investment that will reap a lifetime of rewards including the blessings from a Father who calls His children to live according to His standards.
