RELY ON THE LORD
Who can relate to this mom’s revelation from our online JOURNEY class?
“WOW! So many nuggets and so much to ponder. My biggest takeaway is how THEIR HEARTS are our #1 priority. We are homeschooling again this year, and there are days when everyone seems to be upside down. Those are the days I call for no school. In the past, we have just white-knuckled through all of the arguments, almost just waiting for the pain of the moment to pass. I see that as more of a coping mechanism and a form of suppression. No one learns from that. NOW I can see where those days aren’t marked in the calendar as survival days but as ministry days. Diligence is the word we were reminded of. We must be diligent in every meltdown. We must walk with them from start to finish and ask for strength to finish the day strong. In all honesty, there are days when I am so tired, I just want to shut everything and everyone down because I am overloaded. THAT is when I am striving. Lord, help me not to strive and to rely on You every day. AMEN.”
