It is hard to describe the cry of my heart for families to be awakened and aligned with Him in this critical season. I am expecting God to do big things in your family as you say YES to Him. I feel a rising in my spirit as families MARCH FORTH and take background that has been lost, stolen, or asleep in their family.

A mom shares: “This teaching has definitely been a huge game-changer for me the last couple of years with my oldest especially. It’s also been huge for me with my healing. I endured some hurt in friendships at ages ten and fourteen, where I was abandoned in favor of other friends. I realized that when I saw friends together without me (photos, at church, neighbors hanging out), I felt left out and threatened that there wouldn’t be enough friendship to go around, and they would start liking me less. The Lord walked me through the heart splinter and how it still affected me. He has completely removed that gut-wrenching anxiety, and when I see those similar situations now, I can go to Him so fast and have Him remove that desire to compete for affection. It has made my relationships so much healthier too. I feel so sad that I had to deal with that for so many years, but I am definitely spurred on to help my kids have their heart splinters identified and removed much sooner. There’s a lot that the Lord has done with my parenting of my oldest, too, in this area. Your teaching has allowed me to go from behavior modification to really seeing how his heart is doing. It’s so good!!”

My favorite day of the week was going to the rescue mission and mentoring the moms. I drove away with tears streaming down my face out of pure compassion and love for them. When you see someone – really see THEM – not their choices, messes, or failures – you can’t help but love them. They visibly look different every week I show up. They are becoming Daughters and fighting hard with the tools of heaven for their families. I got permission to take them to see the movie Harriet Tubman with me one week. We all have a FREEDOM FIGHTER inside of us, and these moms are giving it everything they got. There is a calling on their lives to help others find the freedom they are experiencing. I am so proud of each of them.
A mom in class shared: “Let me encourage all of you, even with young ones. My boys are 3, 5, and 7, and we have spent the month of July focusing on love languages as a result of Lisa’s JOURNEY parenting class. We made a calendar and rotated through the languages in order, then picked different ways to show it every time in the month. We have been talking about it and naming it when it happens naturally and working on how to show it. The peace in our home and the connection among my boys have been like never before. It is such a joy and blessing to watch them connect and work together from full live tanks and a place of life!!!”
Years ago, as a homeschool mom of four, we went to the library weekly. I cared deeply about what their little minds were feasting on and had a high guard against witchcraft, sexual material, and language. They would bombard me with, “Mom, can I rent this one?” I finally said one day, “Ask your Father!” They asked Jesus, and 9 out of 10 times, He said NO. The amazing thing about children hearing their Father is that their spirit knows it is the truth and can be trusted. I was filled with joy to receive this testimony.
“We’ve been slowly learning to hear His voice. My nine-year-old just came to me with a book on cd from the library and said that God told him not to listen to that one. He put it back on our library shelf. I’m so thankful for your teachings that have helped me connect my kids directly to Him, as I do not have time to pre-read every book they want to read.”
