CHAOS TO PEACE

CHAOS TO PEACE

A mom wrote to share this: “I was having an epic bedtime battle tonight that ended in soaking and peace.”

How did she go from chaos to peace? She applied the tools I share in JOURNEY, our online Kingdom parenting class. If your home reflects more chaos than peace, consider joining our class and learning the tools for yourself.

BELONGING

I love this testimony from my friend: “Last week one of my kiddos came home from an after-school class very distraught. He had experienced some relational pain with his peers and did not ever want to go back to this class. While I know I didn’t handle the situation perfectly; I tried to ask questions, listen and empathize. Then I shared some stories where I had had similar experiences as a kid, and I chose to quit almost every time. I told him I always wished I had the emotional capacity and support I needed to stick those hard situations out and see them through. He seemed responsive and willing to keep trying. But when that class came again this week, the panic alarm sounded, and he told me he would not go. I ended up getting him to class, honestly not knowing if I was making the right call. I got into my car to drive away with a plan to reach out to his class teachers, and then I also fervently prayed for him with two of my other kids. We asked God to intervene and show up in class today miraculously. When I went to pick him up, I saw that the teachers had called him after class, so I walked up to see what was going on. They had been seeing that he was struggling and were able to recognize and validate the issue he was having with one of his peers. Then they shared how much they valued him and how sad they would be if he left the class. They gave him a place of belonging and showed him how wanted he was. I almost burst into tears on the spot. God had heard my prayers and cared for my boy as only He could. My son left encouraged, seen, and more committed than ever to his class. Thank you, Jesus, that you hear when we cry out to you. You are our provider! And thank you for providing a beautiful school with a loving staff. My heart is full and oh so grateful.”

TEACHING WITH INTENTION

A mom just finished taking our online parenting JOURNEY class for a second time.

“Lisa! This journey has changed my life and my parenting. I am living intentionally and teaching my children with intention as well. Thank you for coaching and encouraging me through this a second time!”

GIVE YOUR WOUNDS TO JESUS

“I am a single mother to a precious 7-year-old. She has no memory of her dad and me being together. While she loves spending more time with him, the tearing apart every time has been very real and hard. She cannot understand why she can’t have us both at the same time and is constantly missing the other one. Lisa gave me the tools to walk my daughter through inner healing. One particularly hard night, we walked through the steps Lisa had given me, both of us. My crying, hurting little girl gave her wounds, fears, and anger to Jesus, and He gave her peace, joy, and love in return. I gave Jesus mine as well and returned with the same. We giggled and laughed and felt so healed! She told her class about it the next day because Jesus met her in her pain and took it away. It was beautiful!”

HE DIDN’T LOOK AT HER HEART

In today’s culture, there is no way a child can obtain this deep wisdom unless they have been instructed and taught.

Testimony from a mom in class: “A conversation tonight: KK asked me, ‘Mom, why did Cinderella’s dad marry twice?’ I said, ‘Because his first wife died.’ KK replied, ‘He didn’t look carefully the second time. His second wife is not good. He only looked at how pretty she was. Not at her heart.’ Wow.”

AUTHORITY OVER DARKNESS

This is the core purpose of Let the Children Fly. A mom taking our online JOURNEY class wrote: “I wish I’d been affirmed and taught in this way as a child. I think it would’ve made all the difference in my life, knowing and asserting my authority over darkness instead of worrying about it and avoiding it.” It is not too late for you to come and learn!

LOVE WINS

Mom of three shares: “I loved how this teaching exposed the strategy of the enemy and the current cultural and spiritual battle going on around the issue of gender and identity. I have been feeling these things for a long time in our culture and in many of my relationships but haven’t had the clarity to really understand the underlying forces at play until this course. So many great tools for helping my children and any lies or struggles they may face as well as walking in grace and truth with my co-workers and friends who still need the invitation to freedom and encounter with Jesus. And beyond the amazing tools, I also feel a new passionate fire within me to bring this revealed strategy of Heaven into my home, workplace, and church!”

CONNECTION

On the second day of our online Kingdom parenting class, we talk about CONNECTION. I asked if their parents saw the value in them. There are always two camps. Those who were raised in dysfunctional homes and those whose parents tucked them in at night, took them to Disney, showered them with love and attention, provided for them, and enjoyed them. But there was always a BUT… Since I was in the first camp, this bothered me. Whenever day two would come around, I KNEW what the answers would be, and I would brace myself. Seriously, how can you have a “BUT…” when your parents were there for you, loved you, and were involved in your world? That is until Jesus spoke. He told me that I was becoming judgmental of those who claimed to have a great childhood and still confessed something was missing. Because it was HIM who put that void there. NO child is wired to be 100% filled by their mom and dad. There are some places in our hearts that are reserved for Him. This is great news. If Jesus is ultimately who our children need to be connected with in order to be whole, then maybe 18 years of parenting is less about us and should be more about Him! Even if you were perfect, it would not be enough, so let’s stop trying (and feeling guilty about it when we are not) and usher our children to the only perfect Parent.

REVEALED TRUTHS

Look what this father had to say after taking our online Kingdom Parenting JOURNEY class.

“Both my wife and I have just come out of a difficult season, and I feel that God used this course to get us back on track, and it actually feels like I have come out of a haze and back into the light. I also can’t wait to start implementing some of the examples given in this lesson with my children. I thank God that He is the one that brings resources into our lives not just for head knowledge but for actual life-transforming spiritual change. He reveals the truths, and He is the one that helps us live the revealed truths.”

LET HIM LEAD THEM

How many times do we miss the move of God on our children because we are focused on them looking or behaving a certain way?

A mom shares: “My son was ‘soaking’ during the worship time at church, and I didn’t even realize it at first. We were in the back row, and he put his head on my lap. I was about to encourage him to sit up ‘properly’ or stand with me and sing but had this sudden realization that he was just… basking. So we sat and soaked. I was so excited to try the sponge activity with the two kids after church, but after today I feel like I can pick up soaking tips from them too.”
